I'm Kim a registered dietitian, certified personal trainer and fit over 40 mama of three, smack dab in the perimenopausal years. I want to help you navigate midlife and find a sustainable way of living healthily while enjoying life!
Many of my clients tell me that what that have been doing to stay healthy and feel good is no longer working. They don't want to feel obsessed with food, but they are totally overwhelmed by the conflicting nutritional messages they hear. My clients also tell me that they don't know what type of exercise is best for their changing bodies. On top of that, many women I work with are dealing with new symptoms like: insomnia, anxiety, depression, hot flashes, night sweats, thyroid dysfunction and low energy. I teach my clients how to change their nutrition, workouts and habits, so that they can regain their health and happiness.
Nutrition and fitness during perimenopause is about much more than calorie deficits and endless cardio. Your body is not the same as it was at 20 or even 30 and your nutrition and exercise shouldn't be either. Your age, what you do, your hormones, your stress levels and your lifestyle all have to be taken into account. I won't give you a cookie cutter plan or tell you to take Tupperware containers of food with you when you go to social events!
If you need realistic nutrition and fitness for your busy life, along with recommendations for mitigating perimenopausal symptoms, my program is for you.
